Shape Night Run 2011

That was my last run before Ramadhan...I only joined 5KM Fun Run, after what I've experienced in Energizer night run.. a bit sceptical of running more than 5KM at night.. hubby as usual joined the 12.3KM...he finished in 1 hour 14 minutes..not his best somehow.

Since it's just 5KM so I skipped the powerbar, I just ran with my 100plus..that's all I need. Finished in 32 minutes..an achievement for me as my last shape run 2009, I ran for 45minutes..that was my first running ever...so I can say I have improved after 2 yrs.

It was quite fun, the kids were there to cheer for mommy and Baba, they had fun as well. Somehow the ambience..I think it was a bit less cheerful compared to 2009. The lights were a bit dim...I remembered the whole place were so bright then in 2009, less lights were light on this time around..but it's still well organized.

The goodie bag..as expected, they have a lot to give away...so no complaint:) definitely looking forward to shape Night Run 2012 next year:)

My cousin is getting engaged

it's just the engagement, hence I assured them no need to be super grand:)

My mom called me on saturday morning to remind me that they are supposed to receive the flowers and ribbons for my cousin's engagement on Wesak Day. I've been procratinating this task... one of the brother is coming to pick them up from me on sunday.
Hence no choice, I had to make a trip to my usual shop called "sayang you" in Semua House..I just hate going there because of the parking issue..

So, to cut the story short..I went there, spend about 1 hour to choose the ribbons and flowers..after getting confirmation from my mom the theme is pink and silver..besides flowers and ribbons I had to make an additional fruit basket for them. The trays are going to be "recycled" from the last wedding we had in our family, which I assured them I've invested in trays which will be used for at least 2 weddings to come:) berkira along ni..

I dont like doing "bunga pahar" it's tedious and so many steps..so I always volunteer to decorate the trays..bunga pahar will be coming from other "department" :)

The trays in copper color which I asked them to recycle:) and these are among the trays I have decorated for my cousin's wedding last year.

Ok peeps..this is for your listening pleasure..I'm not sure if the band is from Malaysia or Indonesia..I just discovered this song lately, according to a friend the song is there since 2007?????? (well.....no one would be surprised knowing me...only when people are soooooo over the song..then I thought it's a new song duuhhhh!!!!..)
