The Tourist

She looks stunning..except too skinny and bony

dolled up like sophia Loren through-out the movie

Scotland Yard team up with the Interpol hunting Alexander Pearse who happened to steal money from a gangster and owed 744 million pounds of tax to the british government, hence to track him down they had to follow his girlfriend Elise (Angelina Jolie) and both Alexander and Elise trying to play up the police by getting them confused (the police apparently has never seen Alexander the mysterious man) A math teacher Frank Tupelo (Johnny Depp) is their scape-goat who met Elise on the train from France to Venice..I must say it's an interesting movie...2 thumbs up...the twist on this movie..superb:) You have to watch it!!

This also, I think Johnny Depp first romantic role..Edward Scissorhand and Cry Baby doesnt count:)

breathtaking backdrop of Paris and Venice. It is ravishing to the eyes I must say:)

It's just that I wonder why Johnny Depp seems to be "anti-handsome" look? look at all his movies..he never wants to play a role that he can be himself..you know the original drop dead handsome look..why cant he takes roles like Tom Cruise or even Brad Pitt that shows their good look? even in this movie he has the opportunity of doing that pun dia tak nak buat.....but again I think that what made him so coooooll!!!:)

by the way...I think it's hillarious at the end when Elise asked Alexander.."for 20 million you choose this look?"

Despite the interesting story line, I think the chemistry between the two macam takde..tu je lah my only tak puas hati..:) it doesn’t come close to the chemistry in Mr. and Mrs. Smith:(

Are you a Type B blood? Eat well according to your blood type

A friend of mine sending me a whole list of things which are benificial and those are prohibited for my type B blood, so I thought it's good to share with those who has the same blood type with me. The source comes from DrLam.com

I found certain things that I wasn' aware before. Things like peanuts can make me fat...it slows down the metabolic rate..shocking isnt it??? so now I avoid peanut butter at any cause (as if that can me slim?):)

Not all food that claimed to be good for health are necessarily good for our blood type..so please read on ok?

They said : .

Type Bs are more prone to immune-system disorders such as multiple sclerosis, lupus, and chronic fatigue syndrome.

Avoid :

  1. Corn, buckwheat, lentils, peanuts and sesame seeds (Most nuts and seeds (especially peanuts, sesame seeds and sunflower seeds)
  2. Chicken
  3. Wheat
  4. Tomato

below are the reasons:

For Type Bs, the biggest factors in weight gain are corn, buckwheat, lentils, peanuts and sesame seeds. These foods have different lectin that affect the efficiency of the metabolic process, resulting in fatigue, fluid retention, and hypoglycemia. The gluten lectin in wheat germ and whole wheat products also adds to the problems cause by other metabolism-slowing foods.

It is important to leave off chicken for Type Bs. Chicken contains a Blood Type B agglutinating lectin in its muscle tissue, which attack the bloodstream and potentially lead to strokes and immune disorders. Type Bs thrive on deep-ocean fish, but should avoid all shellfish. The shellfish contain lectins that are disruptive to the Type B system.

Type B is the only blood type that can fully enjoy a variety of dairy foods. Most nuts and seeds (especially peanuts, sesame seeds and sunflower seeds) are not advised for Type Bs., they contain lectins that interfere with Type B insulin production.

Wheat is not tolerated well by most Type Bs. They contain a lectin that reduce insulin efficiency and failure to stimulate fat "burning". Rye contains a lectin that settles in the vascular system, causing blood disorders and potentially strokes. Corn and buckwheat are major factors in Type B weight gain, they contribute to a sluggish metabolism, insulin irregularity, fluid retention, and fatigue.

Eliminate tomatoes completely from Type B diet. It has lectins that irritate the stomach lining. Fruits and vegetables are generally well tolerated and should be taken generously.

so peeps...hope this will help us to live a healthy life..take care!

My kids and the cinema

Hubby has always trying very hard not to go into the cinema with the kids..but this time around he said he wants to give a try..his new year resolution I guess:) but I pre-warned him "please bring along your adventurous mood" you know in case he will spoil the kids' mood

It's been a while since my last movie especially we are maidless now so the kids had to stay with atuk and nenek when mommy and baba sneaked out for a movie.

The week before we went to watch movie at the Gardens, unfortunately most of the good movies that we were hoping to watch i.e Social Network etc were no longer available..left with no choice but Fair Game (real story about a CIA agent and the propaganda of Bush's administration to attack IRAQ) and Gulliver's travel..since I'm not a fan of Jack Black..I told him..why not this time we watch Fair Game and wait for the kids for Gulliver's travel

As expected...my kids are the type couldn't sit still..believe it or not the only movie that can glue them to the screen is HORROR movie...yess..peeps..I know..it's not good for kids..but they lllloooooved horror movie..just like me:))

So..u just imagine..how distractful it was for us...especially one of them wore the shoes with lights.. (when you move or knock them then the lights will blink) and i had to stop her from doing that as it will distract the other audiences..and then they complained it was too cold...(even with the jackets) luckily I forced the twins to wear diapers..bad mommy:(

So far....only my brother has so much patient bringing my kids out for movies...if not we tried not to.....you know thinking how they will talk and trying to switch seat with each other etc..etc..

the movies was hilarious but I think my gals will love the movies about Disney princess or horror movie more..anyhow, at the end my Aryya even clapped her hands:) if you asked if their Baba wants to bring them out anytime soon for a movie..naaaahhhh..dont think so:) so they have to wait for Ayah Mie (my brother).

Happy new year aunties:) mommy kita dah tak nak bawak kita watch movie lagi:((
